This guide is created for new players as well as higher level players. Hope it help maple story warrior along the way. You may have other builds but this is overall the most effective way.

Creating a new char

You must keep rolling until you get INT 4, LUK 4. STR & DEX doesn’t matter



From level 1 to 10

Stay in Maple Island and kill snails/mushrooms till u reached level 10.
Make sure that you have at least 35 STR when you reach level 10.

When your character reaches level 10, take the ferry from Maple Island to Victoria Island.
Look for the white taxi, and choose Perion as your destination. When you get to Perion go to the top of the map and enter the portal and talk to Sitting Bull. Congratulations! You are now a warrior! You will have 1 SP, add it to improve hp recovery.

Personal advice - when I reach level 10, I have 15 DEX and the rest = STR


From level 10 to 30 - AP build
.
Just make sure u have 40-45 DEX when u reached level 30, so that u will not have a hard time passing the test. Buy some dex potions before u go to take the 2nd job advancement test. The fire boars and lupins are weaker than the one’s u see outside. You will pass the test easily. The rest all put into STR.



From level 10 to 30 - training ground

These are the suggested level corresponding to the training ground.
If you want to go other places and/or go to these places earlier/later, it’s your choice =)

10 - 15: Green slimes in Green Slime tree, 3 screens west of Ellinia.

15 - 21: Pig and Ribbon Pig in Pig Beach

22 - 27: Mushrooms in a tree 3 screens west of Ellinia, blue bubbling in B1

28 - 30: Undead and horned mushrooms found in the Ant tunnel 1,

So many people do not know about dex & accuracy. Thousands of people pm me in game to ask how to add dex. Therefore I make this thread (patching now).

DO NOT SEE HOW MUCH DEX U HAVE, LOOK AT YOUR ACCURACY.
Sorry have to caps it so people will take more notice.


Part 1 – what affect amount of accuracy???

1 DEX = 0.8 accuracy and 1 LUK = 0.5 accuracy, so…..

Accuracy = (DEX*0. + (LUK*0.5) + accuracy from mastery and equipment

Example, you have 80 dex, 4 luk and 20 mastery (20 accuracy)
your accuracy will be (80*0.+(luk*0.5)+20 = 64+2+20 = 86 accuracy + accuracy your equips give


Part 2 – how to know how many accuracy you need

So how much accuracy u need (not dex pls)? Please take note that in order to train efficiently u must hit 100% of the time (no misses).

100% hit accuracy needed = (55+2*lvl difference)*mob avoid/15


Lvl difference is how many lvl you are below the monster.

Example, Taurospear is lv 75, you are lvl 70, then lvl diff = 75-70 = 5
Example, Taurospear is lv 75, you are lvl 75, then lvl diff = 75-75 = 0
If your lvl is higher than the monster, than the lvl diff is ZERO.


So, how much accuracy you should have??? Follow the below steps.

1. check the kind of monsters you think you will be hunting after 3 more level
2. calculate how much accuracy you need when you reach the lvl
3. add your dex (1 dex = 0.8 accuracy) accordingly to have that amount of accuracy by that lvl


Easy and simple right? I believe this should be clear enough for everyone now. Oh if you do not how to use calculator I cant help you, sorry.

A unknown dark power has possessed our “beloved” Zakum and Horned Tail, making them enraged and deadlier than they were before!
Maplers! Find out who is the mastermind behind this!
But……..are you ready for the challenge yet?


Chaos Zakum, launching on 24th November 2010, requires an expedition of at least six Maplers that are skilled and strong of at least level 100.
Defeat this enraged monster and you’ll have the chance at picking up a Chaos Zakum Helmet, Chaos Zakum’s Tree Branch and some awesome scrolls!



Chaos Horned Tail, launching on 15th December 2010, needs at least eleven Maplers stronger than those needed to fight Chaos Zakum.
You must be at least level 110 to go on this expedition but if you can defeat Chaos Horned Tail you might be lucky enough to pick up a Chaos Horntail Necklace!
It is also rumored that Chaos Horntail Necklace might be scrolled more than once using Dragon Stone.

Rewards for both Normal and Chaos Horned Tail will ONLY be given with BOTH of the following conditions fulfilled:

1) Horned Tail has to be defeated by more than 11 or more surviving players.

Features of Expeditions

1. Expedition Captain is required to create the expedition and invite expedition members into the expedition.

2. Expedition Captain can only start the expedition once all members are confirmed by clicking on related expedition NPC (E.g. NPC Adobis for Zakum or Chaos Zakum Expedition)

3. In the process of expedition, members of expedition being kick by Expedition Captain or leave the expedition will be send back to the nearest town immediately.

4. In the process of expedition, if the Expedition Captain disband the whole expedition, every members of the expedition will be send back to nearest town immediately.

5. In the process of expedition, if the Expedition Captain is being disconnected from game, the expedition will continue as normal provided Expedition Captain did not disband the Expedition.

6. Assign of members to Party 1 to 5 will be automatic base on the order when the member is invited into the Expedition by Expedition Captain.

7. Expedition Captain can be switch to another member at any point of time once the expedition started.

blast and brash slash blast dmg will be higher but after bb patch hero enrage is aim one boss and increase 60% dmg so if boss hero also wont lose pala...
compare now~blast and brandish, brandish killing 3mob with a ok range but blast killing 1mob with a short range den brandish(if i not wrong) and the dmg if about the same if pala nvr on elemental..if with element pala skill be higher den hero also...but normally hero dmg wont lose so much, it will nearly with pala dmg...(this is wat i assume with hero and pala, not accurate correct but u can make it is a notice) THX~
